Sharon Griffiths, a beloved member of her family and community, passed away on January 2, 2026, at the age of 82. Born on June 16, 1943, Sharon lived a full and vibrant life, marked by her enduring spirit and the joy she found in her hobbies and relationships.
Sharon was an avid collector of Terri Lee dolls, showcasing her passion for nostalgia. She enjoyed bowling and was known for her love of spending time at the casino, often embarking on bus trips with friends. Additionally, Sharon treasured the moments shared during her weekly card games, where laughter and camaraderie abounded. Her zest for life was evident in her love for cruising, as she enjoyed several journeys with her family, creating lasting memories on the open seas.
Above all, Sharon cherished the time spent with her family. She is survived by her son, Gerald (Cindy) Griffiths, and her daughter, Renee Gibbons. Her legacy continues through her six grandchildren: Tyler Griffiths, Morgan Griffiths, Baily Griffiths, Katlin Gibbons, Kelsey (Jake) Winkler, and Kori Gibbons. Sharon also delighted in the joy brought by her three great-grandchildren: Landon Gibbons, Peyton Winkler, and McKenna Winkler.
Sharon was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Griffiths, and her parents, Edward Joseph (Mary Ruth) Pearia and Irene C. Pearia. She is also survived by her sister, Theresa (Jim) Asher, and brothers, Ronnie (Suzanne) Pearia and Edward (Sandy) Pearia, along with a host of other family members and friends who will remember her kindness, warmth, and the joy she brought into their lives.
The family will be having a Celebration of Life at a later date.
Sharon Griffiths will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her spirit will live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
