Sharon Joy Neumann

Sharon Joy Neumann, born on September 29, 1956, in the nurturing embrace of her parents, Julia Bernetta Jennings and Arley Weekley, left this world on September 4, 2025. A spirited soul with a heart full of kindness, Sharon's personality was a tapestry woven with laughter, tenderness, and a fiery assertiveness that lit up the lives of those around her. She truly was the life of the party, cradling a nurturing spirit that touched many, embodying a beacon of love throughout her journey.

Sharon cherished the beauty of music and the joy it brought into her life. Her adventurous spirit led her to explore the art of DIY projects, showcasing her creativity and resourcefulness. She held close friendships, both old and new, finding immense joy in fellowship with her close friends. In her quiet moments, she tended lovingly to her garden, often captivated by the delicate dance of hummingbirds that visited her cherished blooms. Sharon's love extended to her beloved pets; her heart was warmed by the companionship of her cat, Kitten, and her dog, Sadie, who had passed before her.

Among her proudest accomplishments was her role as a grandmother, a title she cherished deeply. Sharon's home was a sanctuary filled with warmth, where everyone felt welcomed and loved. Her dedication to being a homemaker brought joy to her family, enveloping them in an atmosphere of care and comfort.

Sharon leaves behind a loving family: her daughter, Teri Michelle Smith; son, Charles Alfred Neumann, III; three grandchildren, Christiane Riggs, Brianna Bell, and Lauren Boehme; and two great-grandchildren, Juniper and Jodeci. She also has her brother, Richard Weekley, alongside a host of other family members and friends who will forever hold her memory in their hearts.

As we gather to honor Sharon’s extraordinary life, we remember her infectious spirit and the love she shared so freely. A visitation will be held on September 13, 2025, at Newcomer Funeral Home in St. Peters, from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by a memorial service celebrating her life at 3:00 PM.
