Shawn Wayne Davis

Shawn Wayne Davis, born on December 16th, 1967, passed away on July 1st, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Known for his humor and dedication, Shawn touched the lives of many through his helpful nature and loyal spirit. 

He is survived by his beloved children, Gunnar and Sumner Davis, as well as loving sister Shannon Davis. Shawn will be remembered fondly by his niece and nephews Connor, Chandler, and Cassie Weber. Shawn is reunited with his devoted wife, Sheridan Davis, along with his father and mother, Virgil "Butch" and Trudy Davis.  

Shawn was born and raised in the small town of Bethany, Illinois. He was a graduate of the Bethany Mustangs, class of 1986. He continued his education at Eastern Illinois University receiving his Bachelor degree in Industrial Technologies in 1990.  Deciding to live closer to the city of Saint Louis to further his career, Shawn moved to St. Peters and made his forever home with Sheridan. They were married on September 10, 1995. From there, he grew a family and left a legacy nobody will ever forget.

Shawn took great pride in his career starting his journey at Missouri Power Transmission. After moving far up the totem pole, he decided to go off on his own and created his own business, GS3. Being a trusted and known individual in the industrial space, Shawn created a successful business from the ground up. After many years of success, Shawn decided to sell his company and finish his career with AIC. Outside the office, Shawn loved camping and watching any sport that was available to watch. Spending a lot of his time jamming to 80s Rock or starting a new project to add to his list of projects. Shawn's most treasured times was being around his friends and family doing anything from singing karaoke to gathering around the campfire. 

A memorial service to honor Shawn's life will be held on July 8th, 2025, at Newcomer Funeral Home in St. Peters, Missouri. Visitation will begin at 2:00 pm followed by the service at 4:00 pm, with a gathering of family and friends to pay tribute to a remarkable man whose impact will be felt for generations to come. As we remember Shawn, let us celebrate his joyous spirit, his unwavering commitment to his loved ones, and his profound ability to lead and uplift those around him. He will be dearly missed, but his memory will remain alive in the hearts of all who knew him. Memorial contributions in Shawn's name may be made to the donor's choice.
