Sheila Ann Wells

Sheila Ann Wells, born on December 28, 1946, peacefully passed away on September 21, 2025. A dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Sheila touched the lives of many with her warmth, kindness, and passion for life.

Throughout her life, Sheila embraced her love for reading, often diving into multiple books each week. This insatiable thirst for knowledge was accompanied by a deep appreciation for music, especially Barry Manilow, El Divo, and Neil Diamond. Her vibrant spirit and joyful demeanor were an inspiration to those around her.

Sheila is survived by her devoted husband, Ken Wells, who was her partner in all of life’s adventures. She was a loving mother to her son, David A. Wells, and her daughter, Kristi (John) Hesemann. Sheila was also a proud grandmother to seven grandchildren: David Warziniack, Trevor Wells, Lyndsey Wells, William Hesemann, Rachel Hesemann, Daniel Hesemann, and John Patrick Hesemann, each of whom brought immense joy and pride to her life.

In addition to her immediate family, Sheila is survived by her sister, Teresa Huber, and her brother, Ray Layton. She leaves behind a host of other family members and friends who will carry her memory in their hearts.

Sheila was preceded in death by her father, Alfred Layton, and her mother, Evelyn Layton, who have welcomed her into eternal peace. Her legacy of love and compassion will continue to shine through her family and all those who had the privilege of knowing her.
