Listen to Obituary

Sherry Eilermann, affectionately known by her friends and family for her love, happiness and support, was born on September 12, 1945, in St. Louis, Missouri. She left this world on October 15, 2025, leaving behind an indelible mark on the hearts of those fortunate enough to know her.

A loving mother and grandmother, Sherry took immense pride in her children and grandchildren. Her three sons, Kurt (Julie) Mueller, Mike (Julie) Mueller, and Ryan (Katie) Eilermann, were a huge part of her life, and help illustrate her everlasting legacy. Each moment spent with them was a testament to her fierce energy, love and support. Sherry's love grew even more as she welcomed her grandchildren: Madison, McKenzie, Alexis, Austin, Sydney, and Hayley, each of whom created unique bonds with their Oma. She absolutely cherished the time spent creating memories, celebrating milestones, attending school activities, traveling the world and sharing meaningful moments with her family and friends.

Sherry was also the beloved sister of Laurie Judd. Together, they navigated the joys and challenges of life, while also navigating trains, cruises and countries experiencing many travels together.

Sherry was preceded in death by her devoted husband, Earl Eilermann, whose love helped shape her life and whose spirit remained with her through her years. She is also survived by the memories of her parents, Walter and Millie “Nan” Winkle, who instilled in her the values of kindness, compassion, and strength that she carried throughout her life.

Passion was demonstrated throughout Sherry’s life. As a preschool teacher she made tremendous impacts on many students' lives through her creativity and caring approach. As an active volunteer and member she was instrumental in helping her church community. Her everlasting passion for entertaining, travel, music, and dancing truly illustrated her spirit, and it was felt by all who knew her.

In every interaction, Sherry brought warmth, kindness, and fun, leaving a legacy characterized by unconditional love. Her laughter, spirit, and generous heart will be dearly missed by all who were privileged to know her. As we remember Sherry, let us carry forward her legacy of love, kindness, and family.
