Sylvia Earleen Williams

Sylvia Earleen Williams (Wells) passed away peacefully, on August 7, 2026 at Solace Hospice House in O’Fallon, Mo. 

Sylvia was born to Mildred E. Wells (Van Horn) and Sylvan E. Wells in St. Louis, Mo on January 20, 1946.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and friend. She is survived by her children Becky (Jay) Gambell of Lake Saint Louis, Mo, and Steve (Lisa) Kulow of Sullivan, Mo. Her grandchildren Danielle (Daniel) Timmons of St. Peters, Mo, and William Gambell, currently serving abroad in the United States Air Force. She is also survived by her siblings, William (Debra) Wells and Sharon (Dale) Strickland of Ste. Genevieve, Mo, and Lucy Crites of Centralia, Mo. 

She is preceded in death by her husband Thomas H. Williams, her son Duane C. Douglas, her brother Paul S. Wells, her sister Janet R. Bowen, her mother Mildred E. Wells (Van Horn) and father Sylvan E. Wells.

Sylvia loved animals, especially watching birds, playing cards, reading and spending time with family.
