Thomas Orzel

Thomas Orzel passed away on September 26, 2026, at the age of 65. Born on March 21, 1961, Thomas will be remembered as a simple man with a loud presence, a great sense of humor, and a way of bringing laughter and energy to those around him.

Thomas was an avid sports fan who enjoyed cheering on his teams and keeping up with the games he loved. He also found enjoyment in old western shows and the timeless comedy of The Three Stooges. He loved his dog, treasured time spent around and in his swimming pool, and took special joy in being with his one and only granddaughter. Above all, he was a great dad and a devoted husband who shared almost thirty-seven years of marriage with his wife, Nikkie.

Family was at the heart of Thomas’s life. He is survived by his beloved wife, Nikkie Orzel; his daughter, Jennifer Orzel; his sons, Ian Orzel and Jordan Orzel; and his cherished granddaughter, Jozi Orzel. He is also survived by his brothers, Joe (Cathy) Orzel and Timmy Orzel, as well as his sister, Donna Plodzien. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him and loved him.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Dolores Orzel; and his sister, Kathy Kiely. Their memories remained a lasting part of his life, and he now rests with those who went before him.

Visitation will be held on October 2, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, St. Peters, 837 Mid Rivers Mall Dr, St Peters, MO 63376. A memorial service will follow at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

Thomas will be remembered for his humor, his strong presence, his love for his family, and the simple things that brought him happiness. His memory will live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
