Timothy Jerome Davis, affectionately known as Tim, passed away peacefully on June 18, 2026, in St Peters, Missouri, after an extended illness. Born on October 2, 1944, in St Louis, Missouri, Tim lived a life marked by love, dedication, and an unwavering spirit.

A fabulous and super person, Tim was known for his caring nature and talkative charm. He had an extraordinary ability to know the stories and histories of everyone in his neighborhood. His heart extended beyond people to creatures great and small, as he always loved animals and cherished his family deeply. A faithful and devout Catholic, his spirituality was a guiding light throughout his life.

Tim honorably served his country as a Sergeant in the United States Army during the Vietnam War, where he worked as a Military Policeman. This chapter of his life reflected his courage, discipline, and commitment to service.

Among his many interests, Tim found joy in owning and driving street rods alongside his beloved wife, Carole. Together, they shared countless hours on the road, often driving from St Peters to Maplewood or Webster each morning and evening—time they treasured deeply. Tim was also an avid collector of guns, preferring the art and history of collecting over shooting, a passion he pursued with dedication.

His proudest accomplishments were deeply personal and heartfelt. Tim celebrated 44 beautiful years of marriage to Carole, his best friend and constant companion. He took immense pride in his daughter Leann and his grandson Justin. Above all, he was crazy about his great-granddaughters: Mary Jane "MJ" Fowler, Caroline Fowler, and Anne Fowler, who filled his heart with boundless joy.

Tim’s legacy is carried forward by those who loved him. He is survived by his devoted wife Carole, his cherished grandson Justin (Emily) Fowler, and his beloved great-granddaughters MJ, Caroline, and Anne. Their lives reflect the love and warmth that Tim so generously gave.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Velma Marie Magruder; his step-father, Roscoe W. Magruder; and his daughter, Leann Marie Menefee, whose memories remain a precious part of his story.

A visitation to honor Tim’s life will be held on July 7, 2026, from 10:30 to 11:30 AM at Newcomer Funeral Home in St. Peters, Missouri. This will be followed by a funeral service from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. The day will conclude with a graveside service at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis at 1:30.

Timothy Jerome Davis’s life was a beautiful journey of loyalty, love, and friendship. His memory will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of those who knew him, reminding us all of the profound impact one devoted soul can have on the world around him.
