Todd Michael Seith, born on April 9, 1971, in Fairview Park, Ohio, passed away peacefully on May 17, 2026, at his home in St. Charles, Missouri, surrounded by his loving family. His departure leaves a profound emptiness in the hearts of those who knew him, yet his vibrant spirit and gentle nature continue to shine through the memories he leaves behind.
Todd’s life was a testament to the beauty of simplicity and the quiet strength found in kindness. Growing up in Fort Wayne, Indiana, he graduated from Homestead High School before attending college, where he discovered a deeper passion—not for formal studies, but for his own art. This burgeoning creativity would flourish throughout his life, intertwining with his affection for the natural world.
Most of Todd’s career was spent outdoors, embracing the world he loved as an arborist in Connecticut. Becoming a certified arborist was one of his proudest accomplishments. It allowed him to turn his favorite pastime—climbing trees—into a meaningful and fulfilling profession. Watching his landscaping projects evolve from ideas into living, breathing creations brought him immense joy. He was equally proud of his membership in the “nub club,” often joking about the missing tip of his middle finger. His finger was cut short one day at work, as he was improving the view of the world around him, a small reminder of his spirited and enduring nature.
Those who knew Todd would often describe him as a man of contrast: quiet yet gregarious, stealthy yet unmistakably present through his warm, wonderful smile. Some even called him “Stealth” because he could be so quietly near that you might not immediately notice him. But beneath this subtlety lay an open heart. He befriended everyone he met, making each person feel seen and special. He was brave when it came to standing up for others and always offered a listening ear and a strong shoulder to lean on.
Every neighbor around Todd’s home knew him. Though he led a quiet life, he was never distant or aloof. He welcomed conversations and cherished the company of others, always ready to share a hug or a quiet cuddle with his family. His intense love for life was reflected in his many hobbies: running cross country, swimming with strength and grace, immersing himself in movies and music, and, above all, reveling in the outdoors and nature’s embrace.
Todd is lovingly remembered by his son, his devoted parents Gary and Carolee Seith, his brothers Garry Seith and Scott (Jennifer) Seith, as well as by his nieces, nephews, and a wide circle of family members and friends who were touched by his presence. His passing is mourned, but also a celebration of a life lived with compassion, creativity, and deep affection for the world and the people around him.
In a world that often feels rushed and tumultuous, Todd Michael Seith was a reminder of the quiet beauty found in connection, the power of gentle strength, and the profound impact of a kind soul. While he may be gone from this earth, the love he shared and the memories he created will endure, wrapping those who loved him in a lasting embrace.
