Ursula Doris Vogele, a sweet, loving, and kind soul, passed away peacefully in her home on December 22, 2025, just shy of her 88th birthday. Born on July 26, 1938, in Zweibrücken, Germany, Ursula brought light and joy into the lives of those around her.
Her family was the center of her universe; she was immensely proud of her children, Don Vogele, Mike Vogele, Heidi (Rich) Barton, and Tim (Marlene) Vogele. The fond memories they created together are etched in their hearts forever. Ursula's legacy continues through her grandchildren, Jordan (Lori) Barton, Tim Schroeder, Morgan Barton, Johnny Vogele, Madison Vogele, and Isabel Vogele, and she delightfully cherished her great-grandchildren, Amelia Barton, Audrey Barton, and Camden Barton.
Ursula had a remarkable ability to light up a room with her smile, a quality that was never more apparent than the Christmas Eve she shared with her family at church. This memory, like many others, serves as a testament to her warm spirit and love for celebrating life with family.
In her leisure time, Ursula found joy in traveling and embracing the simple pleasures that life had to offer, but nothing brought her more happiness than spending cherished moments with her loved ones, especially during the beloved Christmas season.
Ursula will join her parents, Karl and Ottilia Schlindwein, and her sister, Geisla Pierrott, who preceded her in death. Their spirits always remained a part of her journey, having influenced the incredibly compassionate person she became.
A visitation will be held in her honor on December 24, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at Newcomer Funeral Home in St. Peters, MO, followed by a funeral service at 10:00 AM.
As we remember Ursula, we hold dearly her memory, reflected in the countless loving moments she shared with family and friends. Her spirit will continue to be a source of inspiration for all who knew her, reminding us of the beauty of kindness, love, and family ties that withstand the test of time.
