Virginia M. Adams, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away on May 6, 2026. Virginia lived a life marked by kindness, dedication to her family, and an enduring love for all animals, especially her beloved cat and dog.
Virginia’s passion for spending time with her family was evident to all who knew her. Her warmth and affection were the cornerstones of her relationships, and she found great joy in nurturing those closest to her. She is remembered with deep respect and admiration for the love she gave so freely.
She is survived by her loving husband, Bill Adams, who stood by her side through all of life’s moments. Virginia is also lovingly remembered by her three daughters: Dawn M. (Gary) Huffman, Dian (David) Evans, and Denice (Alan) Roman. Her legacy continues through her eight grandchildren, who brought immense happiness into her life: Heather Huffman, Ryan Huffman, Chase (Claire) Huffman, Justin (Shanon) Wolfe, Brittany (Poe) Wolfe-Phettongsy, Alexandra (Hunter) House, Virginia Nicole (Shane Harris) Roman, and Andrew Roman. As is also survived by nine great-grandchildren. Along with her immediate family, she is remembered fondly by a host of other family members and friends who were touched by her grace and kindness.
Virginia was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Adams, and her mother, Eva Cartwright, whose memories she held dear throughout her life.
Those wishing to pay their respects may attend the visitation on May 15, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, West County, located at 2211 Clarkson Rd, Chesterfield, MO 63005. The funeral service will follow on the same day from 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A graveside service will take place thereafter from 1:30 p.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery & Mausoleum, 16200 Manchester Rd, Ballwin, MO 63011.
Virginia M. Adams's memory will forever be cherished by those who had the privilege to know her. Her loving spirit, devotion to family, and affection for animals serve as a lasting testament to a life well-lived.
