Virginia “Ginny” K. Niewald, lovingly known to many as “Nana,” passed away leaving behind a lifetime of cherished memories with the family she loved so deeply. Ginny was known for her warmth, her caring spirit, and the unwavering devotion she showed to those closest to her.
Ginny spent most of her life as a dedicated homemaker, a role she embraced with pride and love. Her home was always a welcoming place where family could gather, share meals, celebrate holidays, and create lasting memories together. She took great joy in caring for her children and grandchildren, often babysitting and helping raise the younger generations with the same patience, kindness, and guidance she had always given her own children. Being “Nana” was one of the greatest joys of her life.
Family was truly the center of Ginny’s world. She loved hosting family events and gatherings, bringing everyone together whenever she could. Whether it was a holiday celebration, a simple family dinner, or a special occasion, Ginny took pride in making sure everyone felt welcome and loved. Her presence was a steady and comforting part of her family’s lives.
Ginny also shared a very special bond with her beloved dogs, Roxxi and Trixie. They brought her great companionship and happiness, and she treasured the time she spent with them. They were truly part of her family and held a special place in her heart.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Clifford J. Niewald; her son, John S. Niewald; her daughter, Debra K. Niewald; and her cherished fur babies, Roxxi and Trixie.
Ginny is survived by her loving daughter, Sandra K. Niewald; her son, Mike A. Niewald; her grandson, Chris M. Niewald; her granddaughter, Sarah K. Dowler; and her great-grandson, Silas A. Dowler. She also leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will remember her kindness, generosity, and the love she shared so freely.
Ginny will be remembered for her nurturing heart, her dedication to her family, and the countless ways she cared for those around her. Her legacy lives on in the children, grandchildren, and great-grandchild she loved so dearly. Though she will be greatly missed, the love and memories she created will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
Her family takes comfort in knowing that her love and spirit will forever remain a part of their lives. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
