Willard Ivan Gale

Willard Ivan Gale, age 76, of Chesterfield, Missouri passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, April 8, 2024. He was born in Saint Louis, Missouri on December 18, 1947 to Louis and Sarah Gale (nee Zimbalist).

Willard was caring and strong minded with an enthusiastic personality. His voice was strong, his words were creative and his thoughts were never held back. Willard never wavered from what was most important to him; family, friends….and the casino. He was a friend to many, a caring uncle, and a passionate coach. More importantly, he was the proudest father to his son Cory and the most loving, doting, gushing grandfather you could have to his grandkids, Mason and Collins. One thing that was overwhelmingly apparent to all was that his loving wife, Jamie, was the love of his life with whom he recently celebrated fifty years of marriage.

Willard is survived by his wife, Jamie Gale; his son, Cory (Melissa) Gale; his grandchildren, Mason Gale, and Collins Gale. He will be dearly missed by many family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Louis Gale; his mother, Sarah Gale; his brothers, Monty Gale, Alvin Gale; and his sister, Marsha Gale.

Visitation will be from 11:00 am until 12:30 pm with a funeral service at 12:30 pm on Sunday, April 14, 2024 at Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, West County Chapel, 2211 Clarkson Rd, Chesterfield, Missouri 63017.
