William Mauller Jr., born November 21, 1948, passed away on July 6, 2026.

Bill was a man of deep faith and commitment, maintaining an active role in the Evangelical Free Church. His involvement reflected his strong values and dedication, hallmarks that shaped every facet of his life. Among the many joys that enriched his days, William found particular pleasure in opening his home to host a weekly game night every Thursday. These gatherings sparked camaraderie and laughter—an expression of his generosity and the importance he placed on togetherness.

Bill enjoyed his work. He owned and operated his own HVAC company, Mauller Jr. Inc. His quality workmanship and attention to detail stood out. Honest and dependable, Bill became the go-to person for those who needed a job done well.

Bill enjoyed gardening. The beauty he created outdoors was complemented by his unique collection of statues, a point of personal pride for him. Known as a lifelong learner, William was especially devoted to the study of history, most notably Biblical history. His quest for understanding underscored his intellectual curiosity and informed the conversations and connections he cherished.

Above all, Bill valued family. He took great delight in his role as “Papa” to his grandchildren, treasuring every moment spent with them.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 54 years, Nancy Mauller; his daughter, Wendy C. (Erik) Arneson; his beloved grandchildren, David, Jonathan, and Samuel Arneson; his sisters, Ruth (Wayne) Campbell and Terri Case; and his brother, Donald Mauller. William was preceded in death by his son, Gabriel David Mauller, as well as his father, William David Mauller Sr., and his mother, Helen Gertrude Mauller.

Throughout his life, William Mauller Jr. demonstrated unwavering dedication to faith, family, learning, and fellowship. His warmth and wisdom will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all who knew him.
