Wilma D. Ausburn, a cherished member of her community and beloved family matriarch, passed away peacefully on June 4, 2026. Born on May 1, 1929, Wilma lived a full and meaningful life, richly woven with devotion to her loved ones and her passions.
Wilma was known for her warm spirit and her love of beauty, which found expression in her floral gardening and the delicate art of crafting artificial floral arrangements. Her creativity and care brought joy not only to her own home but to all who knew her. Additionally, Wilma was an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, finding great delight and community in the sport she loved.
She is survived by her devoted daughter, Brenda Guilliams (Charles), and her son Timothy Ausburn (Lisa). Wilma's legacy continues through her two grandchildren, Aaron Guilliams and Kayla Agbayani (Clark), along with her precious great-grandchild, Theo Agbayani. She also leaves behind her sister, Wanda Carpenter, along with many other family members and friends who treasured her presence and influence.
Wilma's life was also marked by the loving memories of those who preceded her in death: her father Carl Stevenson, mother Lena Stevenson, daughter Kimberly Gene Ausburn, brothers Eugene Stevenson and George Stevenson, and sister Betty Henley.
Friends and family will gather to honor Wilma’s life at Newcomer Funeral Home in St. Peters, Missouri, located at 837 Mid Rivers Mall Drive. Visitation will take place on June 9, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service from 1:00 PM. These moments will provide a time for reflection and remembrance of a woman who touched many hearts with her kindness and grace.
Wilma D. Ausburn leaves a legacy of love, creativity, and devotion that will resonate deeply with all who knew her. Her presence will be profoundly missed but fondly remembered, a testament to a life well-lived and a heart forever cherished.
