Wilma Blaylock Gentile

Wilma Blaylock Gentile, born on February 3, 1928, passed away on July 30, 2026, at the age of 98. Throughout her long and remarkable life, Wilma was widely known for her unwavering kindness and compassion. Her genuine care for those around her left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her. Friends, acquaintances, and loved ones alike have always spoken of Wilma as a gentle soul whose warmth and generosity enriched the lives of so many.

Wilma's legacy lives on through her beloved family. She is survived by her daughters, Tina Murray and Suzie Conley; her son, Michael Gentile; her grandchildren, Mark (Hannah) Murray, Jennifer (Andrew) Mestman, Michael Moss, Lauren (Shawn) Warren, Ben Conley, and Kimberley Gentile. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren. Each of them carries forward the values and love that Wilma infused into her family.

Wilma was preceded in death by her husband, Pete Gentile, as well as her parents, Bertha and Grover Blaylock. Their memories and influence endured as steady sources of strength and foundation throughout her life.

Her enduring character was evident in the loving relationships she maintained and in the respect and admiration consistently expressed by those around her. Wilma's ability to foster deep connections and her continual acts of kindness have become an integral part of her enduring legacy.
